The qualifications and responsibilities for this role are listed below.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System; Generate, maintain, and submit documents associated with various customer required packages (PPAP, PFO, FMEA, SPC, and gauge R&R documents); Manage documentation preparation for customer on-site source inspections; Assist the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 approved quality management system; Function as primary point of contact relative to customer complaints pertaining to documentation and compliance to specification; Act as the Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits; Implementation of continual improvement (A3) and corrective action (8D) requirements.
Basic
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or a technical field is preferred; Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in quality management, quality engineering, or six sigma application; and Effective communication skills - verbal, written, presentation; and intermediate skills with MS Office.
Additional
Qualifications:
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Quality Engineer preferred; Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 environment; Strong knowledge of lean principles and root cause analysis; Statistical data analysis and problem solving ability; Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements; Team building ability through all levels and areas of the organization; and General understanding of performance management requirements (KPIs).
